Our diplomatic series continued with Nina Giese from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, better known as GIZ.
Drawing on her experience in corporate communications and her work abroad, Nina introduced us to the role of GIZ in international cooperation and offered a closer look at the challenges of political communication across countries, institutions, and cultural contexts. Her perspective gave us a clearer understanding of how international development work is communicated and coordinated in practice.
The evening also carried a personal note, as one of our members prepared to take a temporary pause from club life to explore the world. Drinks, snacks, and informal conversations after the presentation made the meeting a warm and memorable send-off.
